Brooke Burton, NRP, FACPE is the Quality Improvement/Controlled Substance Manager for Unified Fire Authority in Salt Lake County, UT.  Brooke has over 25 years of EMS experience working as a paramedic in rural to urban environments and specializes in performance improvement.  Brooke serves on the Editorial Review Board of EMS World magazine.  Brooke is the President-elect of the National EMS Management Association (NEMSMA) where she is the board liaison to the Quality Committee.  Brooke was elected Vice President of the National EMS Quality Alliance (NEMSQA) where she also serves on the Measurement Development Committee and various technical expert panels.  Brooke is faculty for the Fitch and Associates Ambulance Service Manager Program and the NAEMSP Quality Course.  Brooke was the recipient of the American Ambulance Association 2016 award for Best Quality Improvement Program and is a nationally known writer, researcher, and speaker on EMS quality and leadership.
