This training is for EMS professionals who work with NEMSIS Custom Data Elements, including EMS data managers, ePCR software vendors, and others who use NEMSIS TAC resources. Randall Eimerman, NASEMSO’s NEMSIS Liaison, will lead the session and explain what custom values are, how they’re used, and where to find helpful guides on the NEMSIS website. He’ll also walk through the National Custom Element Library and explain how the NASEMSO Data Managers Council reviews and manages custom elements.

Participants will get practical advice on how to implement custom elements in their systems and have a chance to discuss how some of these elements might eventually become part of the official NEMSIS Standard. Whether you’re new to custom elements or looking to improve how you use them, this training will help you better understand the process and tools available.
